Job summary

RISE is hiring a Project Engineer to bridge the Project Managers, coordinators, and technical disciplines across fiber design and implementation. You will survey sites, create spec documents, and deliver implementation plans while guiding the implementation team and coordinating with external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience designing fiber networks and documentation
• Supervisory or management experience in projects
• Strong communication in English and team leadership
• Understanding of physical construction requirements in telecoms
• Knowledge of inside plant/outside plant passive optical networks is a plus
• Proficient in using design tools (QGIS, AutoCAD, Visio) and standard office suites
• Ability to coordinate with project managers, designers, vendors, and clients
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and deliver on schedules

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, implementation, and delivery of projects between PMs, coordinators and technical teams
• Survey sites and create specification documents following best practices
• Develop implementation plans and ensure adherence to plans
• Drive implementation through team leads and manage external vendor activities
• Ensure quality and complete as-built documentation after delivery
• Collaborate with fiber designers, implementation lead, and external vendors to deliver services on time
• Possibly act as Fiber Designer where required
• Maintain logistics, tools, and PPE for project workflow
• Produce fiber layout/design documents and maintain site documentation
