Capgemini is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer with hands-on expertise in Angular and/or Java to provide technical leadership across web applications and backend services. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor teams, and influence cross‑functional delivery.

Responsibilities include designing APIs, guiding microservices, and delivering solutions in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) within Agile teams, while upholding quality and estimating features for on‑time releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Fullstack engineer with Java SpringBoot and Angular.
• 1+ years of experience managing teams and leading members.
• Experience on frontend with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience on backend with Java.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of Angular/Java applications.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Angular and/or Java. The role involves providing technical leadership across Angular-based web applications, Java backend services, API integrations, and digital application delivery.

Responsibilities

• Depth and breadth of expertise in application development to manage specialized system applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Influence and solve complex problems, analyze intricate business and user requirements, and develop advanced, innovative software solutions.
• Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Lead complex or cross‑functional projects or manage relationships with vendors/contractors.
• Participate in all aspects of product development from detailed programming to high‑level, complex system design.
• Own the architecture and technical design for new initiatives/enhancements, create proof of concepts, lead and mentor teams, maintain strong connections with external teams.
• Enforce quality and best practices, support production issue analysis, ensure project execution within budget, provide estimates for features and epics, and support pre‑grooming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
