Job summary

Kaertech Electronics Philippines in Laguna (Biñan) seeks a proactive Facilities Technician to maintain and repair utility systems and infrastructure, including air compressor systems, electrical networks, dock levelers, cooling towers, and water supply, while supporting air-conditioning units.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety-driven upgrades to ensure utilities operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Installation and Maintenance or any equivalent course.
• TESDA NC in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or related certificates.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Facilities equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues in utility systems and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs of utility systems (electrical, water, air etc.).
• Ensure all utility systems are functioning at optimal levels.
• Conduct regular inspections of utility systems to identify potential problems before they occur.
• Perform preventive maintenance on systems such as electrical, air-conditioning units, plumbing and compressed air.
• Perform repair, replacement, and upgrades of utility infrastructure and equipment.
• Assist in the installation of new systems (ex. machines, power supply, compressed air supply) and equipment as required.
• Perform cutting, welding, grinding, drilling, assembly and finishing works as required.
• Conduct modification and improvement works to existing systems and structures to enhance safety, productivity and reliability.
• Install new equipment, machinery, piping systems, electrical components, plumbing and facility accessories.

Job description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of utility systems and infrastructure within the facility. This includes air compressor system, electrical system, dock leveler, cooling tower, water supply system and will support also to the maintenance of air-conditioning units.
