Job summary

AcBel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Engineering team in Calamba City, Laguna. The role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical utility systems within the manufacturing facility.

You will support facility operations through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, compliance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating with technicians and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME) is preferred.
1–2 years of experience in facilities engineering, mechanical utilities, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, chillers, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain mechanical systems in the plant (HVAC, compressed air, water pumps, chillers, fire protection).
Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical utilities and equipment.
Review and approve mechanical layouts or designs for renovations or new installations.
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for equipment failures and operational issues.
Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and other engineering teams for maintenance activities.
