Job summary

Petvalue Philippines Corporation in Cavite seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance programs and drive improvement projects across the plant. You will supervise mechanical technicians and coordinate with Electrical & Instrumentation, Utilities, and Production to ensure reliable operation of pumps, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.

You will develop equipment specifications, review designs, and perform root cause analysis on failures.

Qualifications

• Lead mechanical engineering activities and projects.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Review designs, drawings, specs, and equipment proposals.
• Coordinate with departments and supervise contractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities, maintenance programs, and improvement projects.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure reliable operation of pumps, compressors, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, piping, and other plant equipment.
• Develop equipment specifications, maintenance plans, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Review mechanical designs, drawings, technical specifications, and equipment proposals.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend modifications to improve reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical & Instrumentation, Utilities, and other departments for maintenance and engineering requirements.
• Supervise contractors and ensure proper execution of mechanical works.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up activities.
• Monitor spare parts, tools, and materials required for mechanical maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering practices, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanical technicians and junior engineers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
