Job description

F&B Supervisor (f/m/d) – MEININGER Hotel Barcelona Fira Gran Via (Full‑Time)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager to ensure the smooth running of F&B operations, including the Service & Bar departments.
• Ensure internal and external standards and processes are in place, and maintain contact with all F&B suppliers for optimal commercial relationships.
• Control supply of goods, perform stock control and cost management, and prepare monthly reports (inventories and P&L analysis).
• Implement, monitor, and improve MEININGER quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations such as HACCP and safety.
• Manage the F&B team, recruit alongside the Hotel Manager, and guide and develop a diverse team of approximately 10 people (Supervisor, employees, and Barman).
• Train, coach, and mentor team members with an individual approach, aiming for optimal performance.
• Adapt to working all days of the week, including early/late shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of F&B experience in a hotel, hostel, or HoReCA sector, including a management position.
• Model behavior, enjoy shift work, and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Experience conducting F&B training and coaching.
• Attention to detail, ability to identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
• Confidence dealing with numbers; cash register systems and closings; knowledge of Addipos or Sihot is an advantage.
• Solution‑oriented, strong commitment, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural environment; open communication that contributes to team spirit.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum B2); additional languages are an advantage.
