• Optical Dispensing and Sales: Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear, including frames and lenses, based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs. Measure pupillary distance and other necessary measurements for accurate lens fitting. Explain lens options, coatings, and pricing to patients. Process sales transactions and handle insurance paperwork.
• Administrative and Clerical Tasks: Manage patient appointments, answer phone calls, and handle other administrative duties, such as filing patient records and processing insurance claims. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that exam rooms and equipment are properly sanitized and stocked.
