Philippines AirAsia (PAA) seeks an Executive, Sales to drive growth of travel trade partnerships in the Philippines and the WANO network. You will oversee partner sales performance, onboard new partners, and promote AirAsia inventory across trade channels.
The role requires a minimum Diploma with 3+ years in commercial sales within travel/trade distribution and strong communication skills. Field visits and events are part of the role.
As an Executive, Sales, you will lead the growth and management of travel trade partnerships across the Philippines and dedicated WANO (B2B Travel Distribution) network channels. You will be responsible for driving partner sales performance, maximizing flight and dynamic package bookings, and strengthening AirAsia's market presence across foreign and regional partner networks.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual target revenues across designated Philippines and WANO trade channels.
Drive flight bookings and dynamic packages through trade partners, sub-agencies, wholesalers, and OTAs across assigned regions.
Expand the customer and trade partner base through strategic field visitation, desktop sourcing, and account management.
Maintain active, daily communication with key travel trade partners, corporate buyers, and travel agents under the WANO network.
Ensure seamless onboarding, product uptake, and promotion of AirAsia inventory across trade distribution platforms.
Conduct regular performance reviews with travel trade partners to identify growth levers and resolve booking challenges.
Perform regular competitor analysis and pricing benchmarking across regional trade routes.
Support the creation and execution of target group-specific sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing budget plans.
Collect and interpret revenue statistics, reporting key market insights and trade trends to management.
Organize and coordinate trade briefings, product launches, customer appreciation events, and trade fair participations.
Deliver continuous product training to travel agents and partners to maximize distribution efficiency.
Oversee contract compliance, fare/tariff distributions, and system updates across the partner database.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum Diploma holder in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial sales and trade distribution experience. Experience in airline commercial operations, GDS, or B2B travel tech platforms (e.g., WANO, PKFARE) is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the aviation, tourism ecosystem, and trade distribution channels (OTAs, wholesalers, sub-agents).
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Tagalog or additional regional languages is a strong advantage.
