Job summary

Vikings Group of Companies is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality dining experiences across its restaurant brands. You will lead the culinary team, manage food costs, uphold safety standards, and drive creativity in large-scale buffet presentations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize resources, and ensure consistent food quality and presentation for guests at Vikings SM Fairview. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a large hotel or cruise ship environment, with at least 2 years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of food operations, large-scale food preparation, and culinary quality standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams while effectively leading and supervising kitchen personnel.
• Strong awareness of product costs, food quality, and cost-control measures.
• Proven ability to train and develop subordinates in large-volume food preparation.
• Creative skills in buffet presentation, food styling, and culinary displays.
• Willing to work on-site and on flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Willing and able to start immediately.
• Willing to be assigned to Vikings SM Fairview.
