Job summary

DSSI, a Philippine-owned transport provider in partnership with DHL, is seeking a capable transport coordinator to oversee daily transportation and delivery activities, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations.

The role focuses on trip planning, fleet utilization, and serving as the primary contact for trucking partners, customers, and internal stakeholders, with emphasis on meeting SLAs and driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in transport management in a supply chain and/or logistics business.
• Strong customer service/planning experience.
• Experience in distribution and transport operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation and delivery activities to ensure timely and efficient execution of logistics operations.
• Plan and monitor trips, ensuring optimal fleet utilization and adherence to operational schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for trucking partners, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and delivery concerns.
• Track delivery performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and operational targets, escalating issues as needed.
• Manage trip documentation, investigate delivery exceptions, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Support continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
