Job summary

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a Production Planner to organize and monitor production schedules, aligning customer orders with capacity, materials, and deadlines.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Purchasing, and QC to ensure timely outputs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, with at least 2 years in planning, familiarity with shop-floor operations, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (licensed) or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or related role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with shop-floor operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel including formulas, data analysis, PivotTables.
• Knowledge of CAD or related software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain production plans and schedules based on orders, capacity, manpower, materials, and deadlines.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure schedules are followed and completed on time.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Purchasing, QC, and other departments regarding production requirements.
• Analyze production requirements and identify delays, shortages, or scheduling conflicts.
• Adjust production schedules as necessary based on changes in priorities, materials, manpower, or capacity.
• Monitor production progress and provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Maintain accurate production planning records, schedules, and related documentation.
• Use Excel and other planning tools to analyze data, track status, and prepare reports.
• Assist in improving production planning processes and ensuring efficient resources utilization.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
