The role is responsible for supporting Ocean Operations Execution by coordinating day-to‑day vessel and cargo operations, ensuring adherence to standardized operational processes, and providing administrative and operational support to enable the efficient movement of customer cargo. The role applies established procedures, exercises independent judgement within defined guidelines, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and high‑quality operational services.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Experience in shipping, logistics, ocean operations, freight forwarding, supply chain, or shared services is preferred.
Basic understanding of ocean transportation, vessel operations, cargo movement, and shipping documentation.
Knowledge of standardized operational procedures and the ability to follow established processes while exercising sound judgement within defined guidelines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to quickly learn enterprise systems and operational platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
Ability to identify routine operational issues, prioritise work effectively, and elevate non‑routine problems appropriately while maintaining a customer‑focused approach.
