Job summary

The New Albergus Inc. is seeking a Food and Beverage Specialist to oversee catering operations in Quezon City. You will manage prep and post-event activity, train pantry staff, and ensure all food and beverage service meets established standards onsite for major events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a food-related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Extensive F&B knowledge.
• Strong understanding of major kitchen equipment maintenance and operation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of a catering facility and manage prep before events and post-event wrap-up.
• Assist in scheduling and training pantry staff; roll-out of menu items.
• Assist in creating/updating pantry manuals; inspect dispatch during big events.
• Prepare game plans for large events, packed meals and selling events.
• Maintain pantry documents, equipment, and inventory; perform quality control checks.
• Ensure food and beverages are prepared, reheated, and served on-site per standards.
• Troubleshoot food/kitchen issues during events.
• Coordinate off-premise event management, including staff supervision and event timelines.
• Coordinate required equipment for events; check equipment completeness and recommend improvements.
• Close coordination with wait staff for food flow and setup.
