Job summary

VGreen Charging Station Development Philippines Inc. seeks a Permitting Specialist to secure permits, licenses, and clearances for EV charging stations.

You will liaison with LGUs, DOE, DUs, and other agencies to ensure regulatory compliance during development, construction, energization, and operation. You will manage end-to-end permitting, coordinate with engineering and legal teams, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, government relations, utility coordination, or project development.
• Experience handling permits/approvals for infrastructure, energy or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of LGU, DOE, DUs and other regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end permitting for EV charging station projects from site acquisition to commissioning.
• Secure permits, licenses, certifications and clearances from LGUs and local agencies.
• Coordinate with DOE for regulatory compliance, registrations and approvals.
• Liaise with DUs (e.g., Meralco) for power connections and energization approvals.
• Process applications with DENR, DPWH, BFP, PEZA, HLURB/DHSUD and other agencies.
• Monitor permit status and ensure timely submission of requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal, and project management teams on permitting timelines.
• Conduct regulatory due diligence and assess permit risks for locations.
• Maintain accurate records of permits, approvals, and compliance.
• Track changes in laws affecting EV charging infrastructure.
• Build relationships with government agencies, utility providers, property owners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular status reports on permitting activities and regulatory issues.
