Job summary

You will coordinate with design, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure accurate estimates, fabrication feasibility, and smooth project execution. 2–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of estimating or cutting list experience for aluminum, glass, window, and door systems.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, glazing systems, and hardware.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and estimation or material optimization software.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and material take-offs for aluminum, glass, window, and door projects.

• Generate detailed cutting lists for aluminum profiles, glass panels, hardware, and accessories.

• Calculate material quantities, dimensions, and specifications based on project drawings and requirements.

• Review architectural and shop drawings to ensure estimate accuracy and fabrication feasibility.

• Optimize cutting lists to minimize material waste and maximize cost efficiency.

• Prepare quotations and provide technical support during tender and bid submissions.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Revise estimates and cutting lists based on design changes, site conditions, or client requirements.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

• At least 2–3 years of experience in estimating and/or cutting list preparation for aluminum, glass, window, and door systems.

• Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, glazing systems, window and door fabrication, and hardware.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and estimation or material optimization software.

• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
