Job summary

Lynk Global is seeking an Estimator/Assistant Cost Planner to support its Australian construction team from the Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig office. This development-focused role centers on quantity take-offs, cost planning and tender budgets, while building practical experience on live projects.

You will work closely with the Cost Planner and pre-construction team, gaining exposure to procurement activities and subcontractor pricing to ensure accurate cost data for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within commercial construction or multi-residential construction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete trade-level and project quantity take-offs under the direction of the Cost Planner.
• Measure construction drawings and project documentation accurately.
• Assist with the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Support tender budget development and cost planning activities.
• Maintain familiarity with active cost plans and project budgets.
• Assist the Cost Planner and pre-construction team during busy periods and project deadlines.
• Contact subcontractors, trades and suppliers to obtain pricing and market coverage.
• Assist with procurement activities and evaluation of trade packages.
• Support the preparation of Requests to Let (RTLs) for early works trades.

The Role

We are seeking anEstimator /Assistant Cost Planner to support an Australian construction team from our Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig office. This is a development-focused role working closely with the Cost Planner and wider pre-construction team. The successful candidate will primarily assist with quantity take-offs, measurement, cost planning and tender budget preparation, while building practical experience across live construction projects.

You will also gain exposure to procurement and trade engagement, including working with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and assist with early works procurement activities.

• Assist with the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Support tender budget development and cost planning activities.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within commercial construction or multi-residential construction is required.
• Experience with Cubit is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of apartment developments, commercial projects, mixed-use developments, or medium-to-high-rise construction.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

• Experience working for an Australian builder, head contractor, developer-builder, or construction consultancy is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Jobpac, Procore or Procure Pro would be advantageous.
