Job summary

Lynk Global Pty Ltd in Manila is seeking a Civil Estimator to join our team and work directly with a Queensland-based client on residential subdivisions, civil infrastructure, roadworks and utilities.

You will support the estimating and tendering team by preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender documentation across civil construction projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in civil construction estimating or quantity surveying.
• Experience preparing quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.
• Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with civil works such as earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities or subdivisions.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Expert Estimation, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Cubit, Buildsoft.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates from civil construction drawings.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documentation.
• Measure quantities across earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and other civil scopes.
• Assist with tender pricing, cost breakdowns and bid submissions.
• Identify project scope, quantities, materials, labour and plant requirements.
• Review tender documentation and identify potential scope gaps or discrepancies.
• Assist with obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, worksheets and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with Stratum Civil's estimators, project managers and construction teams.
• Complete estimates accurately and within required tender deadlines.
• Support tender handovers and other estimating activities as require

Civil Estimator - AU Civil Construction

Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Note: This role is fully on-site, NO remote or hybrid options.

About the Role

Lynk Global is looking for a Civil Estimator to join our Manila team and work directly with our client, a Queensland-based civil construction contractor delivering residential subdivisions, civil infrastructure, bulk earthworks, roadworks, utilities and commercial projects.

You will support the estimating and tendering team by preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender documentation across civil construction projects.

The role will suit someone with hands-on estimating experience across scopes such as:

• Bulk and detailed earthworks
• Residential subdivisions and land development
• Roadworks and pavements
• Stormwater and drainage
• Sewer, water and underground utilities
• Retaining walls and associated civil works

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates from civil construction drawings

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
