Job summary

Samsung C&T Philippines Corporation is seeking an experienced estimator/quantity surveyor for EPC and PPP infrastructure projects. The role focuses on preparing bids, analyzing contract documents, and leading or supporting bidding processes with accurate cost estimations.

Fluency in English is required, as is the ability to work under pressure and manage a team. The position is full-time in the Philippines, with opportunities across buildings, power plants and civil works.

• Prepare bids for EPC and PPP Infra, Civil, Building projects.
• Analyze project documents, contract documents, and bidding books (including tender forms, terms and conditions, specifications).
• Lead or support project bidding processes through accurate estimation.
• Provide preliminary cost estimations during the initial stages of a project.
• Maintain and update both direct and indirect costs for major projects.

Qualification and Experience

• Proven experience as an estimator or quantity surveyor in infrastructure projects (airports, roads, bridges). Experience in data centers or commercial buildings is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating or quantity surveying.
• Strong understanding of project-related permits, insurance, and associated costs.
• Experience in scheduling is a plus.
• Proficient in software tools used for estimation tasks.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand bid documents and drawings.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage a team effectively.
• Efficient time management skills and ability to work quickly under pressure.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
