Job summary

Real Hires LLC in South Africa is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator who can read plans, build accurate takeoffs, and develop clear, competitive bids for a variety of projects.

You will price projects accurately, meet bid deadlines, and collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to win work; this role offers a fully remote arrangement and requires strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.

• Prepare accurate project estimates and competitive bids.
• Send RFPs to vendors and collect and compare quotes.
• Prepare RFIs when project details are missing or unclear.
• Estimate electrical and lighting work.
• Review plans for scope changes, missing details, and possible cost issues.
• Keep estimates, pricing, and project files organized and updated.
• Use STACK, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Work with vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet bid deadlines.
• Manage multiple estimates while keeping your work accurate and on schedule.

We’re looking for a skilled Construction Estimator who can read plans, build accurate takeoffs, and turn project details into clear and competitive bids.

You’ll play an important role in helping the team price projects correctly, meet bid deadlines, and win more work. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and know construction estimating, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Review construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
