Job summary

IPM Construction & Dev. Corp. is seeking an experienced Estimator based in Pasig City, Metro Manila.

In this full-time role you will prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals to support project wins and company growth. You will analyze plans, coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and defend estimates to clients while tracking market conditions to optimize costs and profitability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering; licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as Estimator in construction.
• Experience with site development, excavation, buildings, and commercial projects.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Sage Estimating or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret drawings/specifications.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Understanding of construction costs, regulations, and safety standards.

About the role

As an Estimator at IPM Construction & Dev. Corp., you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Based in Pasig City Metro Manila, this full-time position will see you responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify labor, material, and equipment requirements

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs, labor and equipment costs, and overhead expenses

• Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information

• Presenting and defending cost estimates to clients and internal stakeholders

• Monitoring market conditions and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability

• Providing input on constructability, project schedules, and bidding strategies

• Maintaining a comprehensive database of historical cost data and industry benchmarks

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering, Licensed preferred

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
