Job summary

Vertex Solutions is seeking an ESG Manager to oversee environmental and social performance across its Philippines portfolio. The role translates ESG standards into practical implementation during project development, construction and operations.

You will lead on-site ESG activities, ensure alignment with IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles, and coordinate stakeholder engagement and reporting across projects in a regulated energy context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ESG experience with hands-on project implementation on-site.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as energy, infrastructure, utilities, mining or transportation.
• Practical knowledge applying IFC Performance Standards or Equator Principles.
• Strong environmental and social expertise including impact assessments, risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement.

A leading international energy developer is looking for an ESG Manager to oversee environmental and social performance across its Philippines portfolio. This role focuses on translating ESG standards into practical implementation throughout project development, construction and operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement ESG policies and environmental and social management plans across renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG with hands-on project implementation experience (present on-site during project phases).
• Mandatory experience working in highly-regulated projects in industries such as energy, infrastructure, utilities, mining or transportation.
• Practical experience applying IFC Performance Standards and/or Equator Principles to internationally financed projects.
• Strong capabilities across both environmental and social matters, including impact assessments, risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, influence cross-functional teams and support lender reporting, with willingness to undertake occasional site visits.
