Job summary

SYSGEN RPO in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to automate end-to-end UI and API tests within a complex ERP environment, using Playwright and Selenium. The role emphasizes scalable design with Page Object Model and collaboration with offshore teams.

You will drive test strategies, review code, support peers, analyze results, and stay current with industry practices, delivering clear demonstrations to stakeholders and maintaining robust test data and environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of test automation experience for multi-platform web apps or ERP systems.
• Strong programming in C# and Typescript; write modular maintainable code.
• Experience with UI, backend and API test design (manual and automated).
• SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban/Lean).
• Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins/TeamCity/Mercurial) and AWS desirable.
• Security testing knowledge (SQLi, XSS) a plus.
• Jira and Zephyr experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Performance testing knowledge preferred.
• Able to work in fast-paced on-site/offshore team.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end tests for UI and API workflows.
• Design automated architecture using POM or similar patterns.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with tools like TeamCity, Git, GitHub.
• Develop automation strategy for a complex ERP system; focus on UI/integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and support automation peers.
• Analyze test results and coordinate defect resolution.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Demonstrate automation solutions to stakeholders.
• Monitor daily test reports and address failures.
• Collaborate to manage test data and database interactions.
