Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Technician IV - Equipment to monitor and maintain assembly line equipment, ensuring uptime and adherence to PM and calibration schedules.

You will collaborate with operators and engineering to resolve quality issues, update downtime/uptime data in R7/R8, participate in AM-PM and 5S programs, and support a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as Assembly Line Sustaining Technician.
• Experience with QFN, TQFP, SOIC packaging equipment.
• Familiar with FOL equipment and quality systems TS16949/HSPM.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to handle shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Comply with quality policy and guiding values.
• Provide daily or shift reports to Equipment Engineer.
• Monitor and keep equipment operational; ensure PM and Cal are updated.
• Collaborate with operators and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Update downtime and uptime reports via R7/R8; participate in AM-PM and 5S.
