Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Technician to sustain and maintain fabrication line equipment across Front of Line, End of Line, or Test Assembly areas in the Philippines.

The role involves troubleshooting, dismantling, reassembling, and testing equipment with basic PLC knowledge and standard PC tools. A background in electronics or mechatronics is required, with experience in a semiconductor environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing and PM duties as assigned.
• Basic computer skills including Windows and MS Office.
• Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation basics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic or mechanical issues in electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per layouts and manuals.
• Use test equipment to perform checks and rebuild equipment as required.
