Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior maintenance/operations lead to supervise teams handling HDD test systems and precise automation projects. You will manage installation plans, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and drive preventive maintenance programs while maintaining clear communication with customers.

The role requires mechatronics expertise, 5+ years in related fields, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team to achieve operational goals.

• Communicate with customers through installation plans, service reports, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Opportunity Overview

• Conduct regular meetings with customers to discuss installation plans, service activities, and provide daily/weekly service reports. Communicate effectively regarding issues, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.

• Strong understanding of mechatronic fundamentals

• 60% : Solid knowledge of mechanical principles such as bearings, gearboxes, actuators, and pneumatic systems.


• 20% : knowledge of electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC principles, power distribution, protective devices, and grounding


• 20% : Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, including sensors, transducers, and analog/digital signals.


• Ability to use AI tools (preferably Microsoft solutions) or excel to analyze the data.


• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).


• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


• Solid presentation skills and effective communication in English.


• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively as part of a team, and lead a team to achieve objectives.


• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics is preferred or other relevant Engineering disciplines such as Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical.


• 5 years or above of experience in HDD test systems or service or maintenance or other precise automation related fields (preferred).


• Proven leadership experience managing a team of at least 3 employees.
