Job summary

Jbros Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Equipment/Fleet Manager to oversee deployment, maintenance, and utilization of heavy equipment across projects in the Philippines.

The role requires a technical degree, 4+ years in equipment management, strong leadership, and excellent coordination and communication skills, with willingness to travel for site inspections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4years of experience in equipment or fleet management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, inventory control, and budgeting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and equipment maintenance management systems.
  • Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Willing to travel and conduct site inspections as required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment deployment by planning, scheduling, and monitoring the allocation of heavy equipment and vehicles to meet project requirements.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance through preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and compliance with safety standards to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and utilization by maintaining accurate records, analyzing operating costs, and recommending repairs or replacements.
  • Coordinate equipment operations with project teams while supervising mechanics, operators, and other equipment personnel to ensure efficient and quality work.
  • Manage equipment assets and resources by overseeing inventory, procurement of spare parts and tools, storage, security, and budget control.
  • Develop and implement equipment management systems by establishing policies, preparing operational reports, investigating equipment failures, and recommending continuous improvements.
