Job summary

GW Fortune Builders seeks an Equipment Engineer to oversee the allocation, maintenance, and monitoring of construction equipment across project sites. You will ensure equipment is deployed efficiently and kept in optimal condition.

You will coordinate with site engineers and project managers, supervise operators and mechanics, and provide guidance on proper use, safety, and repairs. Travel to various sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer required.
• At least 1 year of actual site construction experience.
• At least 1 year supervising construction equipment operations and deployment.
• Knowledgeable in equipment usage monitoring and loading logistics on construction sites.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of construction equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other related computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the condition, usage, and performance of all equipment deployed on various project sites.
• Ensure proper loading, unloading, and handling of equipment during mobilization and demobilization at sites.
• Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and necessary repairs of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Keep detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance history, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers regarding equipment needs and deployment plans.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure that all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance to operators and mechanics regarding proper equipment use and repair procedures.
• Assist in procurement planning for spare parts and new equipment as necessary.
