• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in construction equipment management, QA/QC, or project operations.
• 3–5+ years in supervisory or managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and utilization.
• Understanding of QA/QC processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement equipment management strategies for owned, leased, and rented gear.
• Plan and monitor equipment allocation based on project requirements and schedules.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and proper utilization of heavy equipment, vehicles, tools, and machinery.
• Monitor equipment productivity, utilization, downtime, and operating costs.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and timely corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment transfers, mobilization, and demobilization across sites.
• Develop and maintain quality management systems for construction projects.
• Lead and develop EQM personnel, including coordinators, mechanics, operators, and inspectors.
• Prepare annual and project-based equipment and quality management plans.

About the role

The EQM Manager is responsible for the overall management, planning, monitoring, and control of the company's equipment operations and quality management activities across projects. The position ensures that construction equipment is properly utilized, maintained, safe, available, and cost-efficient, while quality management systems and standards are consistently implemented across project sites. The EQM Manager works closely with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Logistics, Safety, and Finance teams to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement equipment management strategies and procedures for company-owned, leased, and rented equipment
• Plan and monitor equipment allocation based on project requirements and schedules
• Ensure availability, reliability, and proper utilization of heavy equipment, vehicles, tools, and other machinery
• Monitor equipment productivity, utilization rate, downtime, and operating costs
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely corrective maintenance
• Coordinate with project sites regarding equipment requirements, transfers, mobilization, and demobilization
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems applicable to construction projects
• Monitor the implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs across project sites
• Lead, supervise, and develop EQM personnel, including equipment coordinators, mechanics, operators, inspectors, and other assigned personnel
• Prepare annual and project-based equipment and quality management plans

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction equipment management, QA/QC, project operations, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance practices, and equipment utilization
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes
• Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, inspection procedures, and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management/reporting tools
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or similar project-based industries is highly preferred
• Experience in managing multiple project sites is an advantage
• Professional license or relevant technical certification is preferred
