Ninja Van PH is seeking a Jr Equipment Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of warehouse automation systems. You will lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors to support seamless operations.
The role covers preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, system improvements, training for operations staff, and budget management for spare parts, aiming to maximize uptime and safety.
The Jr Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of all warehouse automation systems and equipment. This role leads maintenance activities, troubleshooting initiatives, system improvements, and vendor coordination to support seamless warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Lead and manage the maintenance team responsible for warehouse automation equipment and systems.
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and regional stakeholders regarding automation equipment status, maintenance activities, and system performance.
Spearhead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot automation system issues, coordinating timely resolutions to minimize operational disruptions.
Provide technical guidance on automation requirements, equipment upgrades, and safety standards to support continuous system improvement initiatives.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all warehouse automation systems and proactively identify opportunities for enhancement, optimization, and scalability.
Collaborate closely with Operations and other cross-functional teams to provide technical support and implement system improvements aligned with business needs.
Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing technical advisory to warehouse operations personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and upkeep of automation equipment.
Manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain effective control of spare parts inventory to ensure cost efficiency and equipment availability.
Establish and facilitate baseline performance checks, monitor system health, and analyze equipment performance data to drive reliability improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and workplace safety regulations related to automation systems and maintenance activities.
Prepare maintenance reports, equipment performance analyses, and recommendations for management review and decision-making.
Bachelor of Science Major in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering Degree with related knowledge in machine automation and process control
Atleast one year of experience in a maintenance team working with automation equipment
Good people skills to facilitate conversations between vendor(s) and NVPH
Good people management skills
