About the role

The Associate for Epic Rewards Shop is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales transactions, maintaining the store's appearance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. Their duties include greeting customers, answering product inquiries, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained. They may also handle cash registers, process returns and exchanges, and assist in visual merchandising efforts. Retail Associates are expected to meet sales goals, support store promotions, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints or issues promptly, provide product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences, and ensure a positive shopping experience by being attentive and helpful

• Promote store sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers, upsell and cross-sell products by suggesting related items, and meet individual sales targets while contributing to store sales goals

• Monitor and manage product inventory, restock shelves, assist with inventory counts and track stock levels

• Report low stock or damaged goods to management for replenishment, prepare reports on inventory discrepancies, shortages, or overstock situations

• Assist in stock audits and reconciliation processes

• File paperwork such as receipts, invoices, or contracts, organize and maintain files related to store operations, sales, or customer interactions

• Draft or prepare emails and other correspondence for management and merchants

• Ensure the store is presentable, organized, and well-stocked, maintain an orderly presentation of products on shelves, racks, and displays

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of store displays to attract customers, and ensure merchandise is displayed according to store guidelines and marketing campaigns

About you

• College Graduate; if with extensive experience, at least 2nd year college level

• Sales experience at least 1 year
