ib vogt GmbH seeks a Pollution Control Officer to ensure environmental compliance across solar projects from site preparation to commissioning. You will monitor air, water and noise pollution, coordinate third-party audits, and prepare required regulatory reports.

You will develop pollution control strategies, train staff, and ensure proper implementation of the Environment Management Plan. Fluency in English and Ilonggo is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (OHS, Environmental Science or Electrical Engineering).
• 1+ year of experience as Pollution Control Officer; solar experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Philippine Environmental Laws (e.g., Clean Air/Water Act) and permitting processes.
• Certified Pollution Control Officer with 40-hour training; COSH/BOSH a plus.
• Fluent in English and Ilonggo (local dialect).

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations for solar projects.
• Coordinate environmental impact assessments and audits with third parties and authorities.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports and permits to regulators.
• Develop pollution control strategies and action plans to minimize impact.
• Monitor emissions, effluent and waste management per regulatory limits.
• Provide staff training on environmental policies and pollution control measures.
• Promote waste minimization and energy conservation efforts.
• Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop emergency response procedures with the E&S Manager.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to monitor the Environment Management Plan.
