Job summary

ib vogt GmbH is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead civil and structural works for a solar power project in the Philippines. The role covers planning, supervision, inspection, and QA/QC to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance per Philippine and international standards.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, a PRC license, 5+ years in utility-scale projects, and experience with substations and transmission lines. Willingness to travel and work full-time on site is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer with PRC license.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in 138 kV substations or higher.
• Knowledge of NSCP and DPWH standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schedules.
• Willing to work full-time at the project site and travel.
• Strong QA/QC and inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works for solar plant and related facilities.
• Manage site development: earthworks, roads, drainage, erosion control.
• Ensure compliance with NSCP, DPWH standards, and regulations.
• Inspect concrete, reinforcement, formwork, foundations, and structures.
• Coordinate foundation construction for PV, BESS, substations, towers.
• Review survey layouts and as-built measurements.
• Monitor progress and propose recovery plans for delays.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, QA/QC, HSSE teams.
• Review ITPs, materials, NCRs, and punch lists.
• Support planning, cost control, and risk mitigation.
• Engage with government, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover.
