Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Chemical Process Operator I to ensure reliability and optimize use of parts in Moog applications. The role involves chemical cleaning, surface treatments, and coatings to extend metal life and improve safety of users.

Onsite in Baguio City, Philippines, reporting to Production Area Manager, with a focus on process execution and quality control. The ideal candidate has a Chemical Technology background (or 2nd year engineering) and at least 1 year in chemical-related roles.

Qualifications

Chemical Technology graduate or at least 2nd year related Engineering.
With 1 year experience in fields working with chemicals and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform Aqueous Cleaning as per EP 36282. Load and unload parts on fixtures/Baskets.
Label chemicals.
Conduct system test as per engineering procedures using laboratory apparatus (hydrometer, thermometer, PH meter, timer).
Operate grit blaster for etching.
Masking and demasking of parts.
Support additional chemical processes (Alodine, Passivation, De-rusting, Desmutting, Temper Etch, Pre-penetrant Etch, Metalast Coating, Brush Zinc Nickel Plating, Iridite 80 Coating) with supervision.
