Job summary

Moog Inc. invites applications for a Chemical Process Operator I at our Baguio site. You will support chemical cleaning, treatments, and coatings to extend metal life and safety of users of Moog products.

You will perform aqueous cleaning, load/unload parts, and operate inspection and coating steps under guidance. Requirements include a Chemical Technology diploma or 2nd year in engineering and at least 1 year of chemical experience.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Chemical Technology graduate or at least 2nd year related Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform Aqueous Cleaning as per EP 3628
• Load and unload parts on fixtures/Baskets
• Label chemicals
• Conduct system tests using lab equipment (hydrometer, thermometer, pH meter, timer) for alodine and passivation and other processes
• Operate grit blaster for etching
• Masking and demasking of parts
• Conduct chemical processes with guidance from Chemical Process Operator II
• Alodine
• Passivation
• De-rusting
• Desmutting
• Temper Etch/nital etch
• Pre-penetrant Etch
• Metalast Coating
• Brush Zinc Nickel Plating
• Iridite 80 Coating
