Job summary

Teradata is seeking a senior CSA to lead the technical work in new logo sales in APJ. You will own discovery, architecture design, PoC execution, and competitive positioning to demonstrate Teradata's superiority in cloud and hybrid environments.

You will build PoC libraries and competitive playbooks, contributing to new logo metrics and driving strategic engagements with major cloud platforms. This role reports to the CSA Director within the APJ POD.

Qualifications

8+ years in presales or solution architecture with a focus on new business and competitive sales cycles.
Proven track record of PoCs, competitive deals, and technical evaluations won.
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of cloud-native/hybrid data platforms.
APJ experience across Australia, Japan, ASEAN, Korea, or Taiwan.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical side of new logo sales cycles: discovery, architecture design, competitive positioning, and solution validation.
Run structured technical discovery sessions to understand the prospect environment and requirements.
Prepare architecture/solution proposals showing Teradata fit and competitive edge.
Design and run PoCs and benchmarks using the prospect's workloads and data.
