Job summary

Job Vacancy Phil is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Switchgear Business Unit in Bulacan. You will lead the design, development, and management of electrical switchgear products, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage engineering staff, drive value engineering, coordinate with fabrication, and deliver projects on schedule while tracking KPIs and team performance. This is a direct hire role in Bulacan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Electrical Design, Automation, or Switchgear Manufacturing.
• 5+ years’ managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and switchgear systems.
• Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and KPI management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in CAD, VFD, and PLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering team and support staff.
• Drive product improvement, value engineering, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee team performance, KPIs, and staff development.
• Resolve technical issues in pre- and post-production.
• Coordinate with Fabrication Manager to improve factory performance.
• Manage risks, timelines, and project delivery.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
