Job summary

Amorita Resort in the Philippines is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, building envelope and landscapes, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years in hotel or resort facilities as an Assistant or Chief Engineer, and is proficient in Microsoft Office and project reporting.

Qualifications

• License in BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Hotel or Resort Facilities as Assistant or Chief Engineer.
• Knowledge in Quality Management System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
• Knowledge in Project Management and engineering managers’ report.

The Engineering Manager contributes to company's success by the application and integration of the following; engineering proficiency in managerial and technical skills, core value, computer application, report/proposal writing, research and development for the objective of aligning into standard practice such as; safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability and cost efficient in the operation of equipment’s, machineries’, building envelop and landscape for the overall success of the business.

Qualifications and Experience

1. License in BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering

2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Hotel or Resort Facilities as Assistant or Chief Engineer

3. Knowledge in Quality Manage System

4. Proficient in computerized database such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point

5. Knowledge in Project Management and engineering managers’ report

Working or Basic Knowledge in:

• Knowledge in Project Planning, Costing, Scheduling, Implementation and Testing
• Knowledge in Generator Set, Power Transformer, MVSG and LVSG operation and maintenance
• Able to interpret engineering layout and design (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing)
• Basic Knowledge in AutoCAD and Proficient in Microsoft Office computer application
• Knowledge in HVAC, Laundry equipment’s, Kitchen Equipment’s, Refrigeration, Pumps, Swimming Pool and other Hotel or Resort Equipment’s.
• Proficient in written and Verbal English communication
• Knowledge in Energy conservation program
