Engineering Jr. Manager (Manufacturing & Head Office)
The Engineering Jr. Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering operations, including facilities, utilities, repairs and maintenance, and major engineering projects. This role leads a team of engineers and technicians, manages budgets, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
As Plant Energy Manager, the role also leads energy efficiency and sustainability programs- monitoring energy consumption, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with energy-related regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Operations & Asset Management
- Lead the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Ensure high availability and reliability of plant equipment and utilities
- Oversee job order completion, calibration, and maintenance accomplishment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, engineering processes, and cost efficiency
- Manage engineering OPEX and CAPEX budgets, including annual budget proposalsMonitor repair costs and utilities consumption
Energy Management & Sustainability
- Develop and implement energy management strategies and initiatives
- Analyze energy usage and recommend cost-saving and efficiency measures
- Lead energy audits and prepare regular energy management reports
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for energy-related services
- Research and recommend energy-saving technologies and renewable solutions
- Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team
- Conduct performance reviews, KPIs, IDPs, and improvement plans as needed
- Work closely with Operations and other departments to support business goals
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Prepare and monitor departmental OPEX and CAPEX
- Generate data-driven reports and present insights to Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Must be a PRC-licensed Engineer, Certified Energy Manager (required)
- Experience At least 5 years of experience in Facilities / Property / Engineering / Manufacturing Management
- Must have held a managerial or senior leadership role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Solid background in utilities, equipment maintenance, and engineering systems
- Knowledge of ISO Energy Management Systems and Quality Management Systems
- Familiarity with food manufacturing environments and compliance standards (HACCP, FSSC, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and negotiation skills
