Job summary

ams Asia Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, part of the ams OSRAM group, is seeking a Test/Product Engineer to drive yield improvements and support production for semiconductor test processes.

You will perform GRR studies, update test programs, and collaborate with other departments to resolve downtimes and quality issues. Fresh graduates to 2 years of experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Fresh Graduate to 2 yrs experience in Semiconductor Test/Manufacturing.
• Experience in Test Product Engineering, technician or engineer level.
• Knowledgeable in Final Test and wafer Sort an advantage.
• Practical experience on X-Series and Diamond X series an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work on Yield improvement, First Pass yield Improvement and drive for continuous improvement for assigned devices
• Provide production support through maverick lot disposition and setup/hardware debug
• Update and maintain test programs and production data systems
• Perform GRR studies. Process and analyse result using statistical tools and perform corrective action as needed
• Interface with other departments to support test related issues such as machine downtimes, Yield and Quality
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
