Job summary

Dhost Global Pte Ltd in the Philippines seeks an RF Design & Optimization specialist to design IBS/DAS solutions, perform network optimization, and conduct site surveys. You will use IBWave Design and TEMS tools, analyze performance data, and deliver reports and recommendations.

The role requires strong customer management and teamwork, plus the ability to present technical concepts during meetings and demos. Collaboration with product specialists and sales is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in telecom design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-building solution (IBS/DAS) design and planning using IBwave Design Tool/Plane.
• Perform RF optimization of telecom networks based on technical knowledge.
• Conduct technical site surveys and assessments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot client network issues.
• Analyze, process and interpret network performance data.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations to improve network performance.
• Assist Sales Manager in customer meetings with technical expertise and demos.
• Participate in workshops with product specialists and act as a technical expert on future requirements.
• Assist in definition, management and delivery of Network Planning, Optimization and Testing services.

Job description

The candidate is responsible for RF Design/Optimization, Solution Commissioning, Product Type Approval, Product Preparation and presentation. Good customer management, strong communication skills and being willing to work in a team are key to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-building solution (IBS/DAS) design and planning using IBwave design tool/Plane
• Perform RF Optimization of telecom networks based on technical knowledge
• Conduct technical site surveys and assessments
• Perform diagnosis and technical troubleshooting for related client network issues
• Analyze, process, and interpret collected network performance data
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations to support network performance improvement
• Prepare and assist Sales Manager in customer meetings with technical expertise, presentations, product demos and trials
• Participate in workshops with product specialist and act as a technical expert regarding questions about future technical requirements on the product from the market.
• Assist in definition, management and delivery of Network Planning, Optimization and Testing services
• Product Preparation, Installation and After sales support by preparing, modifying hardware, and installation of TEMS Application. Provide end to end support by performing initial troubleshooting and endorsement of high-level concern to higher support potentially including on and off-site implementation, training and mentoring

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of 2G, 4G, and 5G (SA/NSA) technologies
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecom industry (design & optimization field) • Proven expertise in RF design and optimization, including improvement of OSS and DT/VDT KPIs to meet customer requirements
• Proficient in using TEMS tools and applications
• Knowledgeable in using IBwave Design Tool for in-building solution design
• Skilled in operating telecom test equipment (e.g., Site Master, PIM tester, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Communications Engineering and a like
• Strong interpersonal, customer management and communication skills
