Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to administer and improve line systems and equipment across Front/End/Test areas. You will support downtime events, coordinate maintenance activities, and maintain PM/calibration programs to ensure continuous production.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design/processing engineering to optimize tooling and processes, with travel time expected between 0% and 25% and a commitment to reliable, quality manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing PM schedules and calibration activities.
• Familiarity with coordination of manufacturing operations and equipment.
• Ability to interface with process or design engineering for new product releases.

• Administer, report, supervise and improve systems, equipment, jigs, tooling, logistics and assembly lines at Front, End, or Test areas.

Job Description

Responsible in administering, reporting, supervision and improvement of system, equipment, jigs, toolings, logistics and assembly line at Front of Line, End of Line (Back End) or Test assembly. Can provide support in major equipment downtime. Responsible for administering Preventive Maintenance and Calibration systems and activities.

Requirements/Qualifications

Electronics/Electrical-, Electromechanical- / Mechatronics- / Instrumentation & Control- Technology or Engineering Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Ensures the implementation and execution of PM and Calibration schedule and activities. Interfaces with process or design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and/or equip. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling, equipment and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
