Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an early-career software engineer to design and implement software systems used in equipment integration, data collection, and factory automation within our Philippines operations.

You will work semi-independently under guidance on common programming tasks, contribute to API development and system integration, and apply Agile practices while strengthening troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Agile development tools and practices.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing automation.
• Knowledge of system integration and API development is important.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are important.
