Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a CNC Machinist for onsite work in the Philippines. You will develop CNC programs using Mastercam and NX, select tooling, and create setup guides to support efficient manufacturing processes.

You will review engineering drawings and CAD models, collaborate to troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve processes to meet tight tolerances and quality standards on multi‑axis machines.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical coursework required.
• Knowledgeable in CNC programming using Mastercam or NX.
• 2–4 years of CNC programming experience.
• Ability to operate CNC machinery as a machinist.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and blueprints reading.

Position: CNC Machinist – Onsite

Location: Tanaun City, Philippines (first Philippine Industrial Park)

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam and Siemens NX, select and define appropriate cutting tools for various machining operations, and create detailed setup guides to support efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.
• Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to develop accurate and efficient CNC machining programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, ensuring product quality and adherence to tight tolerances.
• Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
• Work within a team to achieve departmental and business objectives.
• Provide timely and accurate technical support to the shop floor.
• Maintain good housekeeping.

• Familiarity with high‑speed machining techniques and materials such as aluminum, stainless, mild steel, engineering plastics, and composites.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Enhance communication skills through engagement and trainings.
