Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Commercial Operator for its metals trading team in Singapore. You will oversee end-to-end operations of physical metal trades, ensuring precise execution and strong operational backing for commercial desks.

You will coordinate with counterparties, warehouses, shipping companies and inspection agencies, monitor shipments and stock levels, and ensure compliance with contract terms and international trade regulations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an Operator within a trading house, focus on metals or concentrates.
• Strong knowledge of metals logistics, warehousing, incoterms, and trade documentation (LCs, BLs, invoices, certificates of origin/quality).
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across global supply chains and resolve operational challenges under time pressure.
• Solid understanding of risk management, compliance requirements, and contract structures in international metal trades.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills; fluency in English is essential, additional Asian languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full operational cycle of physical metal transactions, from contract execution through to final delivery.
• Coordinate with counterparties, warehouses, shipping companies, and inspection agencies to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Monitor shipments, cargo movements, and warehouse stock levels, proactively resolving any operational or logistical issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with contractual terms, internal processes, and international trade regulations.
• Provide operational support to traders, including P&L inputs, cost monitoring, and risk exposure tracking.
