Job summary

Deployed is seeking a technically versatile CAD/CAM specialist to drive end-to-end design-to-manufacture workflows for timber staircases and joinery. You will draft from site measurements, detail components, and prepare CNC-ready programs for the production facility.

You will design curved/character stairs in StairCon/AutoCAD, program Biesse Rover 3-axis and 5-axis centres, and ensure accuracy through checks with the Australian team. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

Must manage end-to-end CAD to CAM workflow from drafting to CNC-ready files.
Strong experience with StairBiz and StairCon/AutoCAD for curved/character stairs.
Solid CAD drafting and detailing experience with CAM/CNC programming ability.
Proficient in CAM/CNC programming software and producing CNC-ready programs/files.
Good written and spoken English and able to work Australian business hours.
Timber/joinery manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from site measurements, plans and specs.
Detail custom timber staircases and components for manufacture.
Prepare CAM/CNC programs and machine-ready files.
Design and set out curved/character staircases in StairCon/AutoCAD.
Program components for Biesse Rover 3-axis and 5-axis CNC centres.
Check drawings and CNC programs before release to production.
Collaborate with Australian production team to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate drawings, revisions and production docs.
