Job summary

Direc Business Technologies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate – General Accounting to join our Accounting & Finance team in the Philippines. You will maintain the general ledger, support BIR compliance, and assist with end-to-end accounting operations.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, cost allocation, accounts payable processing, payroll support, and tax filings. A Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in general accounting in a Philippine business setting.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and accounts payable is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP Business One, Oracle Netsuite, or similar ERP).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Maintenance and journal entries in line with PFRS.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor cost allocation and overhead distribution.
• Assist with Accounts Payable, payroll processing, and tax filings.
• Support BIR compliance and audit readiness.
