Job summary

GoTeam is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist in Cebu City, Philippines. This onsite role (6 months) progresses to a hybrid setup, handling policy reviews, investigations, and coaching managers on fair workplace practices.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor's degree in a related field, 2 years in ER within a BPO, strong employment law knowledge, and solid MS Office skills. You’ll support CHROs with timely ER reporting and training.

Employee Relations Specialist (₱35,000 to ₱40,000 | Onsite for 6 months then Hybrid | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City, Philippines |Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PHT) | Monday to Friday

You're the person employees trust when something feels unfair, unclear, or unresolved — and the person leadership relies on to handle it with judgment, discretion, and care. As our Employee Relations Specialist, you own the full employee relations lifecycle: from reviewing policy gaps to investigating grievances to coaching managers through difficult conversations.

This is a hands‑on ER role in a fast‑moving BPO environment, where you'll balance confidentiality with responsiveness, and compliance with genuine advocacy for a fair workplace. If you know employment law inside and out and you're the calm, credible voice in the room during a tough investigation, this role is built for you.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field

• 2 years of experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or in a related HR role within a BPO setting

• Strong working knowledge of employment law and its practical application in HR contexts

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and comfort learning new HR systems and tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and projects at once

STRONG SIGNALS

• Formal training or certification in employee relations or HR investigations

• A track record of independently leading grievance investigations from intake to resolution

• Experience working within HR ticketing systems and case management tools

• Prior experience preparing and presenting ER reports or trends to senior management

Investigation and Case Resolution

You own the full lifecycle of every employee complaint, from intake to resolution.

• Receive and review employee complaints and grievances with discretion and fairness

• Conduct thorough investigations, including witness interviews and documentation review

• Analyze findings, recommend resolutions or corrective action, and document the full case trail

Reporting, Training, and Employee Support

You turn ER data into action and give people the tools to handle issues well.

• Deliver regular reports and trend analysis on employee relations issues to senior management

• Provide training to managers and teams on ER policies, procedures, and best practices

• Coach employees through workplace conflicts and respond to HR tickets in a timely manner
