Job summary

My Amazon Guy is a remote digital marketing agency seeking a data-driven Email/SMS Marketing Specialist. You will manage campaigns across Klaviyo and Postscript for multiple brands, define cadence, and optimize automated flows to boost retention and revenue.

You’ll collaborate with Brand Managers, Creative, and Tech teams, execute 6–12+ campaigns monthly, and continuously test subject lines and offers to improve performance. This is a remote role operating on EST hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with email/SMS platforms.
• Ability to build and optimize lifecycle flows and campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization.
• Copywriting and visual direction skills for high-performing email/SMS creatives.
• Analytical mindset with experience in campaign reporting and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage email and SMS marketing performance and strategy across Klaviyo and Postscript for 3–4 brands (with potential to scale).
• Define communication cadence, tone, segmentation, and performance targets for each brand’s owned channels.
• Build, test, and optimize automated flows, triggers, and customer segments for lifecycle and retention marketing.
• Use data and customer insights to personalize messaging and drive higher conversions throughout the customer journey.
• Plan and execute 6–12+ monthly campaigns per client, including offer strategy, content coordination, QA, and scheduling.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and offers to continually improve open rates, CTRs, and conversions.
• Create and manage lead capture strategies (popups, forms, lead magnets) to grow and improve subscriber quality.
• Analyze campaign and flow performance; deliver reports with actionable insights and next steps.
• Optimize funnel performance across engagement, revenue per recipient, and inbox deliverability.
• Collaborate with Brand Managers, Creative, and Tech teams to ensure campaigns align with overall brand strategy.
• Maintain organized campaign calendars and ensure timely, accurate execution.

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo & Postscript preferred)
• Proven ability to build and optimize lifecycle flows and campaigns that drive retention and revenue
• Strong knowledge of segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization strategies
• Copywriting and visual direction skills for high-performing email/SMS creatives
• Familiarity with popup and list-building tools (e.g., Justuno, OptiMonk, Privy)
• Analytical mindset with experience in campaign reporting and optimization
• Ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and clear, proactive communication

Technical Requirements

• A computer with dual monitor setup is required
• Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
• Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
• Camera with at least 1080p resolution
