Job summary

KIMBERLAND CONSTRUCTION INC. seeks an experienced ELV Design Engineer to lead and coordinate intelligent building systems for premium commercial developments in Metro Manila.

You will design low-current/ICT networks, CCTV, access control, PA/VA, BMS, and data center infra, coordinating with architects and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with local codes. The role requires a 10-year track record in ELV systems for large buildings, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Registered PECE or REE license is required.
• 10 years of experience in low-current / ICT system design for commercial buildings in the Philippines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of PEC, NFPA 72, ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 27001 and client ICT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and specification of low-current/ICT systems for large projects.
• Develop schematics, riser diagrams, layouts, and installation details in AutoCAD.
• Prepare specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical, mechanical, and structural teams.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Support site supervision during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (PEC, NFPA 72, ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Attend design reviews with clients and authorities.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ELV Design Engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience in designing and coordinating intelligent building systems for premium commercial developments - including Grade A office towers, luxury hotels, mixed-use complexes, and data-enabled facilities in Metro Manila.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of structured cabling, security, AV, BMS, and telecommunications systems, with a strong understanding of local codes and international best practices. Flexibility to support project deadlines, including occasional overtime, is essential.

• Lead the design and specification oflow-current / ICT systemsfor large-scale building projects, including:
• Structured cabling (Cat 6A / Fiber Optic) and telecom infrastructure
• CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
• Public address & voice evacuation (PA/VA) systems
• Audio-visual (AV) systems for conference rooms and lobbies
• Building Management System (BMS) integration points
• Fire alarm interface coordination (with electrical/fire protection team)
• Wireless coverage planning (Wi-Fi, DAS, cellular)
• Data center / server room infrastructure (basic layout & power/cooling coordination)
• Prepare detailedschematics, riser diagrams, equipment layouts, andinstallation detailsusingAutoCAD;
• Developtechnical specifications,BOQs, andtender documentsaligned with client standards
• Coordinate closely with architects, electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
• Support site supervision during installation and commissioning phases
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards:Philippine Electrical Code (PEC),NFPA 72,ANSI/TIA-568,ISO/IEC 27001, and client-specific ICT guidelines
• Attend design review meetings with clients, authorities (e.g., BFP, LGU), and third-party consultants.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or related field

RegisteredProfessional Electronics Engineer (PECE)orRegistered Electronics Engineer (REE)

Minimum10 years of experiencein low-current / ICT system design forcommercial buildings in the Philippines

Proficient inAutoCAD;

• Structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801)
• IP-based security & networking principles
• Integration between BMS, fire alarm, and ICT systems

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime during critical design or submission phases.
