KIMBERLAND CONSTRUCTION INC. seeks an experienced ELV Systems Engineer to design and coordinate intelligent building systems for premium commercial developments in Metro Manila.

Candidates should have 5 years of hands-on experience in low-current ICT systems, with strong AutoCAD skills and a solid understanding of security, BMS, AV, and telecom infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with Architects and MEP teams, reviewing submittals, and developing detailed specs, BOQs, and tender

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IP-based security & networking principles.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in low-current / ICT system design for commercial buildings in the Philippines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; able to prepare schematics and installation details.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of low-current / ICT systems for large-scale building projects.
• Design CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Design PA/VA systems and AV systems for conference rooms and lobbies.
• Coordinate BMS integration points and fire alarm interface coordination.
• Plan wireless coverage (Wi‑Fi, DAS, cellular) and data center infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed schematics, riser diagrams, and installation details using AutoCAD.
• Develop technical specs, BOQs, and tender documents per client standards.
• Coordinate with architects and MEP teams for seamless integration.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as-built docs.

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced ELV Systems Engineer with 5 years of hands‑on experience in designing and coordinating intelligent building systems for premium commercial developments - including Grade A office towers, luxury hotels, mixed‑use complexes, and data‑enabled facilities in Metro Manila. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of structured cabling, security, AV, BMS, and telecommunications systems, with a strong understanding of local codes and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of low-current / ICT systems for large-scale building projects, including structured cabling (Cat 6A / Fiber Optic) and telecom infrastructure




• Design CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems




• Design public address & voice evacuation (PA/VA) systems




• Design audio-visual (AV) systems for conference rooms and lobbies




• Coordinate Building Management System (BMS) integration points and fire alarm interface coordination with electrical/fire protection team




• Plan wireless coverage (Wi‑Fi, DAS, cellular) and data center / server room infrastructure




• Prepare detailed schematics, riser diagrams, equipment layouts, and installation details using AutoCAD




• Develop technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documents aligned with client standards




• Coordinate closely with architects, electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure seamless system integration




• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and as‑built documentation

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or related field




• Registered Professional Electronics Engineer (PECE) or Registered Electronics Engineer (REE)




• Minimum 5 years of experience in low-current / ICT system design for commercial buildings in the Philippines




• Proficient in AutoCAD




• Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801)




• Strong knowledge of IP-based security & networking principles




• Strong knowledge of integration between BMS, fire alarm, and ICT systems




• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)




• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines




• Willingness to work overtime during critical design or submission phases
